About Frank Deflethsen

After immigrating to the United States in 1978 and honorably serving in the United States Army from 1980 to 1983, Frank Deflethsen, started his career in the carrier transportation business.  He moved to Cape Coral Florida with his wife in 1993 after vacationing in Cape Coral in 1990.

Soon thereafter, they started a specialized transportation Company (Suncoast Moving and Storage Inc.) in 1994, serving individual and corporate relocations world wide, in addition our company manages and transports commodity for the retail sector around the world and currently employs over 40 full time personnel.

In 2004, they started Suncoast Records Management Solutions after being solicited by one of their larger corporate accounts to provide them with secure document storage and internet access of there documents.

Suncoast Moving and Storage Inc. was nominated in 1998 by the Horizon Council for Industry and received and received its award, that was continued by the councils nomination in 1999 and 2000.

Suncoast also received the Harry Chapin Hunger Drive Award in 2000 do to our involvement from 1998 to 2000.

Frank, among other entrepreneurs of Cape Coral, established the European Chamber of Commerce, of which he currently serves as President on the Board of Directors.  he has also served as the Publicity and Marketing Chairman of the German American Club for one term.

Suncoast is a member of the Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce since 1997 and a recent graduate of its leadership class of 2007.

Both companies are involved in the Big Brother and Big Sister Program, and they participate and support the Cancer Society. The companies are also members and actively involved in the Port Charlotte Chamber, Ft. Myers Chamber, Bonita Chamber and Naples Chamber.
